Delegation Program

Cohort 2

To apply for the Delegation program, please fill out the application form below:

Deadline August 9th 2024

Key Points

  • For this, program the Humans.ai Foundation will delegate up to 17% of the current total supply on the network at the time of deployment.
  • Up to 35 validators delegated to in this program
  • Delegations will be on a rolling 6 month period.
The Humans.ai Foundation is committed to enhancing the decentralization and security of the Humans.ai network by delegating a portion of its token holdings to validators who share its commitment to the long-term health and growth of the network. We invite feedback from the community to ensure that the delegation process is fair, effective, and aligned with the best interests of the Humans.ai ecosystem.

Timeline

The delegations will be fixed for a period of 24 weeks, approximately 6 months. Validators must continue to meet both the mandatory and evaluation criteria during this time. In the event that a validator fails to meet these criteria, they will be given notice to remedy the situation and a week to do so.

All validators interested in participating in the delegation program are expected to submit an application that details their current fulfillment of the mandatory and evaluation criteria.

The submission will be reviewed during the evaluation period. Delegations will be performed from the foundation's accounts during the deployment period. To ensure fairness among all validators, the re-evaluation period will begin prior to the end of a cycle, allowing for cycles to be completed on a rolling basis. At the conclusion of this program, the delegation policy may be subject to change.

Will open on July 26th 2024. There will be a 2 week period for application. Applications will close by August 9th 2024.

Mandatory Criteria

To be eligible for a delegation, validators must meet certain criteria at the time of application and evaluation. Please note that under exceptional circumstances for substantial contributions, if some of the criteria are not met, the Humans.ai team can decide to still delegate to certain validators.

Performance & Participation

1
  • Have been part of the network for at least 3 months prior to the deployment period
  • Have an uptime of at least 90% in the last 3 months
  • Not have been slashed/jailed within the last 3 months

Security & Decentralization

  • Be outside the top 5 validators (by voting power). In case our delegations push a validator that’s currently outside of the top-5 into the top-5, the validator may keep the delegation for the current cycle and will be ineligible for the next one in case they remain in the top 5.
  • Not be associated with a centralized exchange
2

Undelegate Criteria [X]

  • Get Tombstoned
  • Have less than 75% uptime for 7 cumulative days in a row within a 3 month period
  • Have governance participation drop below 80% during the delegation cycle
  • Are jailed for 3 cumulative days in a row within a 3 month period
  • Have been proven to have engaged in inappropriate behavior within or towards the community according to our code of conduct
  • Have been proven to have engaged in harmful behavior towards the network
  • Failed to upgrade nodes within 24 hours of a software upgrade

Commission [$]

In order to give back the freedom to validators to decide on their own commission rates, there will be no maximum commission in order to be eligible for a foundation delegation.

To keep the FDP fair regardless of the chosen commission, delegations will be pro-rated based on the set commission.

If validator A (5% commission) and validator B (10% commission) both meet the baseline criteria, and have accumulated the same amount of bonus contribution points, validator B will only receive half of the delegation compared to validator A, and hence they'll earn the same amount of total commission.
